Hello again, it has been full holiday swing over here, but I am now back and making new stock for 2013.
I have set some goals for 2013 that include opening an Etsy store – you will be the first to know!
I am also looking at breaking into the retail world by renting some shop space. Though, when I say space I am talking shelf not full shop, but I have been thinking that this is a great way of getting my work out there without having to increase my prices dramatically – I know how much I love finding beautiful handmade things that are affordable and want to share that pleasure as much as possible. I am so lucky that Melbourne, Australia has so many options for crafty people to sell their wares!
And finally I am so looking forward to having market stalls with the lovely ladies at the Made ‘n Thornbury Craft Market again this year (if you want to see some photos from their Christmas Market last year check out their blog here). Such a wonderful group of people and it feels like home for my business – it will be great to catch up with the women I did the Make Craft Your Business Course with also! Thornbury Womens’ Neighbourhood House are running these courses again this year – I highly recommend them to any woman in Melbourne wanting to turn her craft into a business!
So please wish me luck and I look forward to sharing 2013 with you all!!
